pastoral care and Wellbeing
Our school offers pastoral support to students, staff and the school community. Our Pastoral Care Worker aims to provide: care, personal, social and emotional wellbeing support and acts as a resource and referral person for students, families, staff and the school community.
Our Student Well Being Co-ordinator and Pastoral Care Worker support our students and staff to use restorative discussions for a shared understanding about their learning behaviour and how it affects others. This process helps students to make strong choices and how to resolve issues and restore relationships in a safe supportive environment.
Other programs and resources to empower and build our students’ self-esteem, social and emotional skills, friendships and wellbeing include: Wellbeing for Learning and Life Framework, The Educator Toolkit, What’s the Buzz, Play is the Way, Strength Cards and Kimochis.
