School community code of conduct

In partnership with our collaborative learning community, our students are provided with educational experiences to inspire them to become confident, creative and active global citizens in the future.
Our leadership team, staff, students and parents are working together to develop powerful learners with a growth mindset and to maintain mutually respectful and trustful relationships. Our focus is on the development of each learner’s academic, physical, social, emotional well-being for learning and life in a safe and supportive teaching and learning environment.
Our values are enacted through student, staff and parent behaviours and our ethical conduct:

RESPECT

Behave ethically and speak in a respectful and responsible manner to all members of the school community Value diversity of opinion and listen 

to others and their views.

Communicate with a positive mindset, manners and respect the privacy of others
Work together with community spirit and participate positively in school life
Represent the school as positive role models to promote our school’s great reputation
Follow and support the expectations and decision–making processes within the school
Show school pride by care for own, school environment and other people’s property

CREATIVITY

Deal with issues proactively, constructively and critically with a solutions approach
When there is a problem use the school’s grievance procedure, research information and provide some ideas and solutions
Be aware of issues related to social media and to be open to innovation and change

EXCELLENCE

Strive for excellence in learning by promoting personalised learning goals and powerful learner dispositions Be punctual, attend school regularly and complete homework tasks
Value the educational expertise and status of leadership and staff
Access school newsletters, apps, emails and facebook to enable effective communication

RESILIENCE

Show flexibility persistence and resilience when faced with challenges and to learn from their mistakes
Be friendly and courteous to all members of the school community and to show empathy and understanding when there are issues
