Student Voice
Discovering their voice and fostering independence are central to our educational approach. Through platforms like Class Meetings and Morning Circles, students actively participate in decision-making processes, ensuring their perspectives are heard and valued. These opportunities not only encourage self-expression but also cultivate a collaborative spirit, as students engage in problem-solving exercises together, celebrating their achievements along the way.
In addition to these inclusive practices, we empower our Year 6 students to take on leadership roles such as House Captains and Ambassadors, tasked with leading school events and championing our core values. Similarly, Year 5 students embrace leadership responsibilities as Student Wellbeing Leaders, promoting a supportive and caring environment within our school community.
Furthermore, our school encourages cross-grade collaboration, as students from Reception to Year 6 work alongside student leaders to address pertinent issues through special projects and initiatives. This collaborative effort ensures that every student has a stake in shaping our school’s future, fostering a sense of ownership and belonging among our student body.
Our 2025 Student Leaders
Introducing Our Year 6 Senior Leaders.
We are pleased to announce our Year 6 Senior Leaders for 2025, including our Ambassadors, House Captains and a newly introduced group – the Creative Arts Leaders.
These students will take on the responsibility of representing their peers and contributing positively to our school community. Each fortnight, they will come together to explore leadership qualities, engage in team-building activities and develop initiatives to enhance our school community. They will also work collaboratively to support upcoming events and projects.
We look forward to seeing their ideas, creativity and leadership in action throughout the year.
